• You have arrived at the first page of Section 'D' of grade 1.

• This is the start of your 11 page course culminating in an online quiz
• Syllabus includes: Simple Time Signatures,  Common Music Terms,  Music Symbols, The Piano and the composer Vivaldi

You should already be familiar with the 'pitch' and 'time' names of notes and rests, understand 'accidentals' and clefs, tones and semitones and have memorised 4 key signatures. If not go back and review Grade 1 (A).
You will also understand the scales and key signatures of C G and F major and A minor. If not go back and review Grade 1 (B) You should also have a good grasp of Tonic Triads, Tonic Chords, Dotted Notes and Ties, if not review Grade1 (C)
